Today was somewhat uneventful, unless you want to call my cravings kicking in exciting!
I had a rather crappy morning, not sure why. Burn out, maybe? I didn’t feel like doing anything not even to homeshool my kids. (Yikes!) And of course it had to be the day that my oldest son was having a little difficulty with his math subject and we ended up spending more than an hour on it. I had to call our homeschool done after that.
And usually when I’m having an “off” day, that’s when my cravings for my favorite treats (chocolates, chips, anyone?) would kick in. I had to fight my urges to give in all day and go for a walk with my kids for a donut! (Geez!) But I didn’t! Thank goodness to willpower and You again, I made it through the day!
So here’s what I ate for the day…
Early Morning: 2 glasses of water, cup of coffee, banana
Breakfast: Banana muffin, 2 fried eggs, water
Snack: handful of mixed nuts
Lunch: Gr. pork with egg & kimchi, sweet kale salad
Dinner: Easy Slow-cooker Baby Back Ribs, baked sweet potato, homemade coleslaw
Okay, I did have 2 small mint chocolate square! You ever been to Olive Garden? Yeah, it’s that chocolate treat they give you after paying your bill. See? It’s small! 😉Lol!
No Rock Solid today. For week 2 it is suggested to do only 3 days training. I could probably do more but the program is set up to gradually increase your strength. So I’m not going to push it too hard and then burn out before I can reach the finish line. Besides I’m still participating in the daily SLDL challenge.
And today is day 26 of 28 day Single Leg Deadlift challenge. I did 5 sets of 5 reps each side using 20 kg. But before that I did some light mobility and stretching as well.
And that’s all for today!
Tomorrow is 2nd training day of Rock Solid Kettlebell program and I’ll be doing the rock solid routine. Stay tuned for that!
