It’s rest day!
But my lats, my glutes, my thighs are definitely sore and all worked from yesterday’s training. Though it’s the best part of it, so I’ll say it again, I LOVE IT! It’s a great feeling, really.
For all the ladies out there who are afraid to feel the pain after lifting weights, please don’t be! The soreness after doing an exercise only means that it is working and that you pushed yourself as far as you can go. So, go for it! Don’t hold back! But remember to always exercise caution, you know your body better than anybody.
Early Morning: glass of water with apple cider vinegar, cup of coffee, banana
Breakfast: 2 eggs orange pepper & cheese omelet, 2 slices of bacon, a handful of blackberries
Morning snack: 2 small orange clementines
Lunch: Deviled eggs 3 halves with sweet kale salad
Afternoon snack: a handful of roasted, salted almonds and a handful of peanut m&ms (yes! I was not able to resists when everyone were eating it in front of me)
Dinner: Beef Enchilada served on 2 small soft tortillas, with guacamole, lettuce and shredded cheese plus a side of 1/2 cup of sugar snap peas
This Beef Enchilada was my attempt to re-purpose our leftover Easy Shredded Beef using this recipe and a few of my own modifications based on what we have on hand. You can of course serve this with whatever you like for toppings. I ate mine with, again what we have available this time.
So today I went for a 20 minute leisurely stroll with my kids instead.
Looking forward to tomorrow’s workout routine already!
Stay tuned for day 5! I’m going to be doing 3rd training day for the 1st week of Rock Solid. I’m so excited!
