It’s one of those dreaded days for me where I have to journal here what I ate for the day but then feel ashamed because I let weakness gets the best of me…again! I’m not proud of it but I have to write it here for everyone to see. It’s ugly but its the truth and hopefully serves as a great reminder for me to try harder next time. I know I want my success story in the end as much as the next mom out there who’s also working to lose those stubborn post baby fat.
So here it goes…
Early morning: glass of water with acv, cup of coffee
Breakfast: 2 eggs with onion and tomato omelet, with some tater tots on the side (can you imagine my face right now?)
Lunch: Leftover pork enchilada and because I couldn’t resist, a handful of tortilla chips (my face is totally scrunching right now as I write!)
Snack: crackers (I don’t know why) & a handful of m&ms (I’m blaming my husband here! Hehe!)
Dinner: Lemon, garlic chicken, side of cauliflower & baked sweet potato (now that’s much better!)
But then I poured myself a glass of moscato wine afterwards but I didn’t finish it, so does that count?
Hey, don’t judge! I’m really trying here! It’s just when I let myself deplete of energy, its instant, I crave my treats! At least, I didn’t slack in the workout department! 😉
It’s a good thing I workout first thing in the morning or I’m pretty sure, I would have skipped it too!
Today I did Backside Conditioning from Rock Solid program. And did it ever kicked my butt! I was winded at the end of it! Lol! But it was great to have accomplished it!
Here’s what I did:
Glute bridge in TRX: I used our gymnastic rings: 4 sets/ 10 reps each
Heavy 1-arm swing: 4 sets/ 5 reps each side/ 35 lbs
Light 2-hand swing: 4 sets/ 25 reps each/ 35 lbs.
I also did burpees, squat jumps & mountain climbers. What a great workout!
Day 7 of 21 days Kettlebell Press challenge
Day 7 of 25 days Plank challenge
