Hi there! Welcome to my blog! I’m so glad you stopped by!
My name is Ria. I’m a wife, stay-at-home mom and a homeschooler to 3 beautiful kids.
Learn 2 Live Life was created to become a source of inspiration, encouragement, ideas and resources for homeschooling families. Whether you are new or a seasoned homeschooler, you are welcome! We can all learn from each other!
Why did I start blogging?
I needed to find my passion. To push myself out of my comfort zone. To be better at what I do. To share things I have learned about homeschooling. To offer inspiration and encouragement to other moms. To connect and build relationships with other moms who are in the same season of life. To offer resources about learning with your children or homemaking.
What can you expect to find here?
My blog will be a reflection of my life. I aim to write things as it relates to my current season of life, as a wife, a mother, a homeschooler, and homemaker. Everyone needs someone. If you are a new homeschooler who needed some inspirations or ideas about how to get started; or a seasoned homeschooler who may be needing some encouragement; or maybe just a parent looking to do some intentional learning and playing with your kids, then you are in the right place! Follow us along and hope I can help you be inspired.
However, with my current busy life at the moment, I blog whenever time allows. So you can expect to find me posting here at least once per week or 2. So check back often!
My Goals and Mission
My goals are, to build a community of moms who are looking to make a difference in the world by sharing their life’s experiences, ideas, and encouragement to other moms who may be needing it. And to offer my own experiences, ideas, encouragement and resources to help out another mom.
My mission is to encourage and inspire other moms who believe that they have something to offer to others but doesn’t feel brave enough to get out there and be heard or be known.
I want you to know that I am just like you! I tried to do things by myself for a long time. It just doesn’t work! I now know that I am more happy with a lot of people around me (family, friends, other moms, support group). So, you don’t have to feel alone, let’s do this together!
If you are interested to join me in this journey and watch how I grow slowly, learn from it, be inspired by it or do it along side with me, I encourage you to do so! You can go on ahead and subscribe to receive my emails so you don’t miss a post or follow me on my Facebook and Pinterest.
How I Got Started?
Maybe you are contemplating to start your own blog but not sure how to do that or where to start. Don’t worry you are not alone.
I recommend hopping over to Live your Legend and check out their Start-a-blog challenge. The late Scott Dinsmore will walk you through how to set up your own blog and give you 7 different writing prompts for 7 days. I say it’s a good start to get you thinking and doing at the same time. It was such a challenge and I truly enjoyed it! Also, the website itself is full of inspiring articles on how to live the life you wanted and full of inspiring people who are proofs that it can be done.
Of course, there are also tons of other blogs out there that will help you get started in your blogging journey but this is how I got started. I took their blog challenge. You can find it here.
Okay, when you have finished the challenge of starting a blog and now find yourself stuck and unsure of how to proceed from it. I suggest getting yourself a copy of Building a Framework by Abby Lawson (affiliate). It is very informative! She walks you through the whole process of setting up a blog from scratch, to choosing your theme and everything else that you will need to get your blog up and going. And she also has a whole website dedicated solely for growing your blog. Isn’t that awesome?! Seriously, I couldn’t explain it any better so you better just go check it out! You will love it too as much as I did!
So there you have it! I hope you would join me in my journey! Thank you so much for stopping by!
